Seanchoíche (pronounced Shanna-Key-Huh) our storytelling night is coming BACK to Dublin in October. The event is taking place on Thursday, October 26th at 7pm @ The Fumbally Cafe, Dublin.
No refunds.
The idea is that you come to the event if you want to hear a good story. You can come just to listen and be a spectator, or if you feel like telling a story, you can volunteer to do so.
The theme of the night of the 26th is 'FIRSTS AND LASTS'. All stories told will revolve around this theme. Stories can be personal anecdotes based on your own experience, or the experience of someone in your life, they can be fictional pieces, they can be monologues, poetry or anything that you consider a story.
We will have arranged storytellers on the night, but if you get the urge to stand up and tell a story when you're at the event on the night, you are welcome to do so. Storytellers can contact hello@seanchoiche.com to let us know they are volunteering prior to the event.
Max two tickets per booking. Tickets can be purchased here.
A seanchaí is a traditional Gaelic storyteller/historian. We're all natural born storytellers, and often underestimate the value of a good story.=
