Seanchoíche (pronounced Shanna-Key-Huh) our storytelling night is coming BACK to London in January. The event is taking place on Friday January 26th at 7.30pm @ Ridley Road Social Club, Ridley Road, Dalston, London.
The idea is that you come to the event if you want to hear a good story. You can come just to listen and be a spectator, or if you feel like telling a story, you can volunteer to do so.
The theme of the night is 'CHILDHOOD'. All stories told will revolve around this theme. Stories can be personal anecdotes based on your own experience, or the experience of someone in your life, they can be fictional pieces, they can be monologues, poetry or anything that you consider a story.
We will have arranged storytellers on the night, but if you get the urge to stand up and tell a story when you're at the event on the night, you are welcome to do so. Storytellers can contact hello@seanchoiche.com to let us know they are volunteering prior to the event.
This event is not BYOB.
24£ entry (including VAT) + booking fee . Max 2 tickets per booking.
Tickets go on sale Thursday 4th January at 5pm UK Time and can be bought HERE
There are no refunds available on tickets purchased.
A seanchaí is a traditional Gaelic storyteller/historian. We're all natural born storytellers, and often underestimate the value of a good story.
