Seanchoíche (pronounced Shanna-Key-Ha) which is a storytelling night founded in Dublin, and spread across the world, has finally come to the USA, and where better a place to host our first ever night than in the Dead Rabbit Pub in NYC?
The idea is that you come to the event if you want to hear a good story. You can come just to listen and be a spectator, or if you feel like telling a story, you can volunteer to do so.
We will be hosting the night in The Dead Rabbit, and all stories told will revolve around the theme of 'HOME'.
Doors are at 7pm. Attendees can have a drink and a bite to eat before we kick off with our first speaker at 8pm.
We will have arranged storytellers on the night, but if you get the urge to stand up and tell a story when you're at the event on the night, you are welcome to do so. Storytellers can contact hello@seanchoiche.com to let us know they are volunteering prior to the event. Storytellers go free!
30$ entry. Max 2 tickets per booking.
A seanchaí is a traditional Gaelic storyteller/historian. We're all natural born storytellers, and often underestimate the value of a good story.
