Seanchoíche, (pronounced Shanna-Key-Ha), is an unique Irish storytelling night founded in Dublin, and we are coming back to Sydney in February with the theme of CONNECTION.
The idea is that you come to the event if you want to hear a good story. You can come just to listen and be a spectator, or if you feel like telling a story, you can volunteer to do so.
We want to hear your story! Please send in a summary of your story via our submission page, and we’ll get back to you if we think it will work well at this Seanchoíche.
Tickets on sale on Friday 24th Jan 12 noon local time via DICE HERE
This event is 18+ only. BYOB.
Seanchoíche, an event that is grounded in respecting the cultures and traditions of all storytellers. As we run nights and workshops across these vast lands, we pay our respect to all First Nations Elders, past, present, and future. We celebrate their continuing connection and contribution to culture, country and community, as we ourselves attempt to reconnect to our own culture through storytelling, and we thank all First Nations peoples for their wisdom in caring for the land, the sky, the rivers, the sea and of course the stories that we hear, that we share, and that we feel.
